Life After Death
Post-existence. Daniel Yashinsky 16/09/2011 Death is a word that somebody never prefers to hear yet addresses that consistently ring a bell are what occurs after we bite the dust. Numerous individuals have faith in various circumstances at the end of the day I accept that the manner in which we experience our life will decide our outcomes in the great beyond. Practically like being rebuffed as it were itââ¬â¢s the method of the general public to trust in ethics, for example, good and bad. Who or what passes judgment on the reality of where we go. Are these hypotheses exact or is everything only a manufacture. With everything taken into account itââ¬â¢s truly hard not to think about the one thing you canââ¬â¢t run from. Since the second I was brought into the world my folks have been mentioning to me what is correct and what's up. So if I somehow managed to accomplish something incorrectly I would get rebuffed so these ethics have consistently been engraved in my mind. Who chose what is correct and what's up, for what reason do we have these ethics and for what reason do we get rebuffed for submitting purported sins? I donââ¬â¢t think there is a genuine response for that, yet individuals believe that on the off chance that you are a decent human which can mean such huge numbers of various things yet as a rule in the event that you experience your life carrying out beneficial things that you will go to a paradise. This hypothesis works in the contrary route also, when individuals submit sins that are against the ââ¬Å"normâ⬠of the general public they live in then they will get lost. This is one reason why religion has been followed for such a long time to keep society in charge as indicated by what we assume is in charge. In the event that one has faith in this, at that point it will be simple for somebody to simply carry on with their life and not dread what is past the edge of death. Yet, one inquiry despite everything remains, who chooses our confidence in the afterlife. Today I was asked ââ¬Å"do you have confidence in god? I didnââ¬â¢t realize how to react in light of the fact that everything I could consider was the thinking for his inquiring. Did he need me to put stock in god? Is it accurate to say that he was only inquisitive to know what my contemplations were on the issue? All I know is itââ¬â¢s an individual inquiry yet it felt like I was being judged. I like to have my own perspectives on things I donââ¬â¢t normally adjust to society, practically like an existentialist. So the response to the inquiry is fairly, I donââ¬â¢t especially put stock in god itself, however I think there is a type of higher force. The genuine inquiry is if this more powerful winds up making a decision about us simply like this man did to me today. So this higher force oddly enough gets the chance to pass judgment on me and the remainder of the world to choose if we get the chance to go to a cheerful spot or a tragic spot in basic words that is the thing that religion implies. Individuals commit their entire lives thinking in the event that they observe this standard their existence in the wake of death will end up being great for the remainder of endlessness. Presently I will see past this and take a gander at individuals who don't have faith in god what so ever, so such individuals are sentenced to live in the black market. Presently whoââ¬â¢s to state that the manner in which I carry on with my life will decide my existence in the wake of death. For what reason would it be a good idea for me to think something that somebody has recently made up with no evidence? Anything can occur after you bite the dust; individuals shouldnââ¬â¢t consume their entire time on earth disentangling the code of death. The explanation individuals feel such a need to trust in something is on the grounds that they have a dread, the dread of the obscure. At the point when you donââ¬â¢t realize what is going to come after you kick the bucket, how canââ¬â¢t face those feelings of dread. I sincerely accept that any of these speculations can be valid, yet much to my dismay how much demise assumes a star job in such huge numbers of peopleââ¬â¢s lives. Honestly everybody sees demise diversely and relying upon who you are Now life is something critical to us all, why squander it contemplating whatââ¬â¢s going to occur in the afterlife. If I somehow happened to bite the dust I might want to one to pass judgment on me on the things I have done in the course of my life. This will give a significance to my life and numerous different lives also. Perceiving in what manner or capacity numerous individuals have confidence along these lines of life that it would be horrendous not to see it satisfied, likewise a something of a more powerful adjudicators us and leads us through the remainder of forever. At long last we can conflict with everything and state that all that happens is we decay in the ground. So for all we know life as we probably am aware it tends to be demise with no genuine evidence we simply have hypotheses however my convictions will remain solid .

Collaboration and Peer Reviews Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 750 words
Cooperation and Peer Reviews - Essay Example There are burdens, be that as it may, for example, now and then having oneââ¬â¢s thoughts dismissed or essentially changed before they are written down, and pleasing different peopleââ¬â¢s timetables and life. One of the significant points of interest to teaming up on an undertaking is that one gets an alternate arrangement of aptitude that can illuminate the work being finished. Specialization is key in w wide assortment of fields, in light of the fact that the measure of information and involvement with the world is detonating at an a lot more prominent rate than somebody can really stay aware of it. Consequently working together permits somebody to get to information and mastery they may not in any case have, which can give various perspectives, nuance to a contention, or even right mistakes that are made in the first judgment. Another advantages of working together on ventures is having someone else to ricochet thoughts off of, that can be more basic than one generally is t o oneââ¬â¢s self. Once in a while others can see blunders in believing that someone else can't, and this assistance shield anybody teaming up on an undertaking from unintentionally distributing things that probably won't be precise when seen fundamentally. It is extremely, hard to be completely basic about oneââ¬â¢s own thoughts, so having someone else who can do that can be fantastically useful on an assortment of levels. While joint effort has various favorable circumstances, it likewise has a few impediments. Teaming up fundamentally implies bargain. Once in a while people will contrast on where to put accentuation, or maybe on much increasingly significant issues, for example, regardless of whether something is a contention that they ought to make. Working together implies that occasionally each personââ¬â¢s thoughts will be vigorously altered before they get out, which can prompt to some degree less innovative or fresh reasoning. Moreover, teaming up takes much additio nal time than taking a shot at something alone can â⬠one needs to oblige their collaboratorââ¬â¢s timetable, life, etc, so rather than simply working when and how one needs, one needs to some of the time sit tight for input, go over things a few times, etc. Coordinated effort has a few inconveniences that bring down its general favorable circumstances. Something I learned through exploring my friends work is how much simpler it is to see pessimistic things in another personââ¬â¢s work than oneââ¬â¢s own. Subsequent to surveying a peerââ¬â¢s work, I returned and searched for those equivalent issues in my own, and a large number of them were available. Besides, I discovered that it is a lot simpler to perceive what is done inappropriately (terrible punctuation, structure mistakes, etc) than to acknowledge what is progressed nicely. One of the significant focal points of having a companion survey my paper was getting mistakes in rationale or correspondence that I would not see. Clearly I made the thoughts and contentions I use when composing a paper, so when I read it back to myself it generally bodes well â⬠I hear what Iââ¬â¢m saying. Someone else, be that as it may, can just gather what your contention implies from the thinking of you put on the page, so it can truly feature things that you have not imparted all around ok, or that don't bode well without included detail. One of the weaknesses to having a companion audit my work before I submit it is that occasionally having another person survey my work can

Othello A Tragedy Without Meaning Essay Example For Students
Othello A Tragedy Without Meaning? Paper A catastrophe without significance Othello isn't, as the very class of disaster looks to impersonate activity and life, the two of which have an acquire meaning. Here and there, Shakespeares work can be viewed as instructive as for the situation in old style disaster, the legends falls emerges as issue of a hamartia on his section, a shortcoming which plagues mankind. Truth be told, all through the work, Othello is uncovered to have a lot a bigger number of deficiencies and shortcomings than a man of his height should groups, giving motivation to his ruin. The works primary hero, the plotting Iago, eventually has his own explanations behind his activities; activities which on surface worth may seem, by all accounts, to be innately underhanded and motiveless. A third factor here, the job of the setting, and its part in the catastrophe additionally assists with clarifying the purposes behind it. Through Iagos intentions, and Othellos acquire shortcomings, the awfulness of the play is significant for the crowd. By inspecting Iagos activities and his talks the crowd can observe that Iago does in fact have thought processes in his activities, anyway feeble they might be. In spite of Iago perceiving that without a doubt the field is of a free and open nature Oth Act 1 Sc. 3 ll. 381, he despite everything despises him. Iago must be analyzed nearer to find his thought processes: obviously, he is envious of Cassios arrangement as Othellos lieutenant and this is an extreme incongruity in itself as he later taunts Othello for his own desire, having surrendered to the green-looked at beast. There is likewise obviously Iagos unmitigated racial slurs and disdain towards Othello, and his neurosis in regards to the alleged betrayal of his better half, And it is thought abroad that twixt my sheets hes done my office Oth Act 1 Sc. 3 ll. 369-370. Nonetheless, the last reason may appear to be less sensible, taking into account that Iago likewise expresses later that he accepts that Cassio has additionally laid down with his better half. Iagos demeanor to the subject, diverging from Othellos perspective on sex as a binding together power, is that it is something innately grimy and loathsome, expanding his suspicion . Iagos fundamental bad habit anyway is his desire for power. At last, his point isn't to ascend to the position of lieutenant, yet to go the extent that he can. This point is defended by his plotting not just against Cassio, the man who holds his desired position, however Othello, the general of the Venetian armed force himself. Eventually, Iago is amazed by how simple it becomes to control Othello and before the finish of the play is even somewhat upset for the simplicity at which his arrangement has happened as intended. No man without an unmistakable intention, as has been regularly proposed for Iago, could have formulated such an arrangement, that struck the casualty pass up blow, with no opportunity to recoup to sane idea in the middle. Iagos principle rationale at that point turns into an exemplary instance of tall-poppy disorder as he looks for not exclusively to oust the lord of war and the goddess of adoration, yet to likewise cause them to endure. The setting in the play likewise assumes a noteworthy job in the clarification for the explanations behind the catastrophe. The play opens in Venice, the embodiment of western human advancement and culture in Shakespeares time. Affected by Venices culture, there exists nonexistent obligations of control and request , which hold characters feelings under wraps. In Act 2, after the transition to Cyprus, these bonds are slowly discharged, liberating the route for confusion to manage over request in a manner impractical in the main Act. The characters have now arrived at the wilderness . Proof of this is found regarding the poor climate surrounding Cyprus at that point. For this situation there is both an exacting and figurative tempest blending, as Iagos plot starts to shape in his brain. The chidden surge appears to pelt the mists; The breeze shaked charge, with high and gigantic mane, Seems to cast water on the consuming Bear And extinguish the watchmen of thever-fixed Pole. Oth Act 2 Sc. 1 ll. 12-15 The way that Othello neglects to take note of the intensity of the fermenting storm sentences him to his destiny. It must be noticed that Othello is a fighter, a general, by calling. Hitler and His Downfall EssayThis point is confirmation that in the long run Othello can't adapt to assuming more than one job simultaneously: in Cyprus he is compelled to play both the enthusiastic sweetheart, and senator at different occasions, while his wifes character demonstrates substantially more adaptable. At different occasions Desdemona assumes the job of the temptress, cherishing little girl, the explicitly mindful lady, and the mindful spouse. From the beginning there are signs giving the idea that Othello can envision his fall, and Iago will have his direction. Othellos artlessness likewise demonstrates an explanation behind his destruction. He puts total trust in Iago, putting stock in his past temperances and his alleged commitment to his significant other Emilia. This win or bust methodology eventually comes to pass to emphasize his desirous fierceness. He isn't inclined to contemplation, to looking at himself from inside, yet rather is loaned to aimlessly accept the shortfalls of others, particularly Iago. His naïveté empowers his poise, once so apparent, to unwind, and be put in the hands of others . For instance, Lodovico can't accept the adjustments in his character: Is this the respectable Moor whom our full Senate Call with everything taken into account adequate? Is this the nature Whom energy couldn't shake? Whose strong temperance The shot of mishap nor dart of chance Could neither touch nor penetrate? Oth Act 4 Sc. 1 ll. 255-258 The truth of the matter is that in spite of the fact that Othellos energetic feeling assists with terminating his creative mind; it at last prompts dazzle all explanation and balanced reasoning take 1:3:128-169 as Othello describes the tales of his gutsy past so as to win Brabantios girl from him. At last the explanation for all the frenzy is exhibited in the last scene of the play. What Othello intends to submit isn't a homicide, yet rather a penance . He does this through affection for Desdemona, to spare her from herself, and for his own respect. This demonstration sets up another Othello, an Othello significantly nobler and more courageous than the Othello of Act 1, an Othello that captures his past decay. O mild breath, that dost nearly convince Justice to break her blade! One progressively, one more! Be in this manner when thou craftsmanship dead, and I will murder thee And love thee after. One more, and this the last. Oth Act 5 Sc. 2 ll. 16-19 The crowd is left not with a sentiment of fury for a silly, good for nothing catastrophe, however an information this has occurred for an explanation, for a hamartia with respect to the lead character. As Othello bites the dust upon a kiss, quickly we are left with no agony, however with just a sentiment of reclamation . The purposes behind the catastrophe are very plain to see. Iago has his own intentions in cutting down Othello and Desdemona, and at last he is astonished by how effectively he can prise separated two individuals so totally infatuated with one another. The job of the setting contributes towards the lead characters destruction as the obligations of progression are broken with the move to Cyprus. Othellos own blemishes are obvious from right off the bat in the play, from his artlessness, to his envy, to his constrained relational abilities. It is here where, as in all catastrophe, the play contains a specific instructive component as the creator looks to clarify the reasons that an incredible man, for example, Othello can fall. As Iago at last forces no sweat at which he accomplishes his foul closures, there comes a notice for all of us: for in the event that Othello was the best the world brought to the table, at that point what expectation do we as a whole have?

Definition Of Research And Its Many Types Finance Essay - Free Essay Example
The term research is loosely used in everyday life. While watching the television, listening to radio or reading the newspaper we come across this term every now then, it is very difficult to avoid this term. The basic definition of the term Research is given in Oxford Encyclopedic English Dictionary as (oxfordreference.com) The systematic investigation into the study of materials, sources etc. in order to establish facts reach new conclusions An endeavor to discover new or collate old facts etc. by the scientific study of a subject or by a course of critical investigation. Also Research can be defined as something that people undertake in order to find out things in a systematic way, thereby increasing their knowledge. Systematic way to find out things are vital phrases in this definition. The phrase systematic here suggests that the research is based on logical relationships not beliefs. And the phrase to find out things suggests that there are multiplicity of possible purposes for the research which may include describing, explaining, understanding, criticizing analyzing. (Ghauri Gronhaug, 2005) From the above definitions, it is evident that research has following characteristics: Data collection interpretation process is systematic controlled. Research has a clear purpose. The research process involves rigorously tested results methods results are open to public scrutiny criticism. (Walliman, 2005) Unless a person is clear about what he wants to research, it is difficult to plan how he is going to research. With reference to this there is one quote in Alices Adventures in Wonderland. Its a part of Alices conversation with the Cheshire cat where Alice is asking the Cat, Would you tell me, which way I ought to walk from here? That depends a good deal on where you want to get to said the cat. I dont much care where replied Alice. Then it doesnt matter which way you walk said the cat. (Carroll, 1989) Thus, formulating illuminating the research topic is the preliminary step of the research project. Once the topic is clear, it becomes easy to choose the most appropriate research strategy data collection analysis technique. This process may be time consuming but if enough importance is not given to this stage the entire project faces the risk of failure. (Saunders Lewis, 1997) Types of Research: Once the research topic is formulated, next step is to decide the type of research required to be conducted. There are different types of research which are distinguished on the basis of theoretical background methodologies adopted to conduct them. Following are some of the commonly used research types (Walliman, 2005): Historical Comparative Descriptive Correlation Experimental Evaluation etc. Now let us briefly understand these concepts. Historical Historical research is defined as the systematic objective location, evaluation synthesis of evidence in order to establish facts draw conclusions about past events. (Borg, 1963) Historical research enables solutions to contemporary problems to be sought in past. More stress is given on what had happened in the past to find out reasons why how that happened. It also helps to figure out present future trends. Such kind of research stresses the relative importance the effects of the interactions that are found within all cultures. (Walliman, 2005) Comparative Comparative research is normally undertaken in co-ordination with historical research. In such type of research peoples experience from different societies or different situations is compared. These researches can take place on the macro or the micro level. This kind of study comparison of differences helps to divulge the origins development of social phenomena. Descriptive Under descriptive research observation is used as a tool for collecting data. It tries to understand the situation in order to build up standards i.e. what can happen if certain situation takes place. Observation, as stated above can be done in many ways like, interviewing people, distributing the questionnaire, audio or video recording etc. These observations are recorded then analyzed in order to reach conclusions. Such type of research is affected by two major factors: the level of complexity involved the scope of the survey. This research has a drawback, as it depends upon the observation of human behavior there responses. For such type of research one has to be very careful while selecting the sample population framing the questions to be asked. Correlation The dictionary meaning of the term Correlation is a connection between two or more things, often one in which one of them causes or influences the other. (dictionary.cambridge. org) Such kind of research is related to numbers unlike previous types of research. Its more of a quantitative form to analyze such data various statistic techniques are used. This quantitative research can be further classified into; Relational Studies Prediction Studies. Relational Studies is an investigation of probable connection between different phenomena to find out if there is any correlation if yes, then to what extent. Where Prediction Studies is used when correlation between different phenomena is known it can be used to predict future events or behavior. The major advantage offered by such research is that it allows measuring the characteristics of variables their relationship simultaneously. But it lacks to reveal the cause effect relationship among the variables. Experimental An experiment can be defined as making change in the value of one variable, known as independent variable observing the effects of those changes on the value of another variable known as dependent variable. (Cohen Manion, 1994) For example, experiments performed in laboratories. Before carrying out any experimental research it is necessary to predict the likely effects causes. This gives an idea of what kinds of variables are required how they should be measured controlled during the experiment. Thus it can be seen that the most important characteristics of experimental research is to find out cause effect relationship between a set of variables. Experimental Research can be further classified into Pre-experimental Research, True Experimental Research, Quasi Experimental Research and Correlation ex post facto Research. Evaluation Evaluation research is a descriptive kind of research exclusively designed to handle complex social issues. (Guba Lincoln, 1989) The main purpose behind any evaluation research is to understand the particular programmes or the working of the programme from different viewpoints like awareness about the subject, cost effectiveness, benefits, attainment of the objectives the quality produced. Most of the times, outcome of such evaluation is helpful in improving the existing situations or developing the new ones. But sometimes it just helps to understand the programme. (Robson, 1993) Methods of collecting data: After finalizing the type of research to be undertaken; next step is to formulate the techniques for collection of data. At first, the nature of data required should be confirmed then, techniques for analyzing that data should be figured. The decision of adopting particular data collection analysis technique is derived from the nature of output required, the characteristics of research problem the available information sources. Thus it becomes necessary to decide whether to conduct qualitative analysis or quantitative analysis. Based on the above discussion, relationship between type of research, data collection techniques data analysis techniques can be presented diagrammatically as follows. Fig. 1 Matrix Diagram: Link between Perspectives (Adapted from Walliman, 2005) The Matrix Diagram makes clear that not only research type data required are related but also data collection data analysis techniques are related to each other. The above figure points out two widely used data collection data analysis techniques; Qualitative Quantitative techniques which are used frequently in business management research. Quantitative technique generally makes use of questionnaire to collect data or makes use of graphs or statistics for collecting analyzing numerical data. Whereas Qualitative technique is used for collecting data through interviews categorizing collected data for generating non-numerical results. It can be interpret by making use of videos or pictures. (Saunders, 2009) Mixed Method is a technique which combines both qualitative as well as quantitative techniques. It involves the use of qualitative quantitative approaches mixing both the approaches making the analysis more strong. (Creswell Plano, 2007) Advantages of Qualitative Research Methods: Produces more in-depth ample information. It makes use of subjective type of data More emphasis is given on detailed description It helps to understand the situation more critically Qualitative approach is not only helpful in understanding the complex situations but also helpful in creating or evolving theories. It gives flexibility to researcher to check out participants responses. Limitations of Qualitative Research Methods: It has limited scope as small groups are used for interviews. If essential questions are omitted it will have adverse effect on the research analysis will lose its affectivity. Data is gathered on large amount, it becomes difficult to manage if not properly organized. Advantages of Quantitative Research Methods: Data is collected in numerical standardized form. Quantitative analysis always involves numerical analysis of data. Analysis is conducted using statistical formulas diagrams. Relationship between variables is expressed formally. Outcome of the research can be compared with previously held outcomes of the research. Limitations of Quantitative Research Methods: Often, assumptions are needed to be done. These assumptions have to be done on reasonable grounds otherwise there is possibility of losing the effectiveness of research. Quantitative analysis generally helps to understand the particular relationship between the variables but does not give reasoning behind it. Choices available for research methods: As explained by Tashakkori Teddlie in the book Research Methods for Business Students, one can make use of single data collection corresponding data analysis technique known as Mono Method or make use of multiple data collection analysis techniques known as Multiple Methods. Fig. 1 Research Choices (Saunders, 2009) The above chart explains various research choices available. The two basic choices under research choices are Mono Methods Multiple Methods. Under Mono method one can combine either single quantitative data collection technique such as questionnaire with quantitative data analysis techniques or make use of qualitative data collection technique like detailed interviews qualitative data analysis techniques. Whereas under Multiple Methods, one can combine qualitative as well as quantitative data collection techniques like making use of questionnaire structured interviews both analyzing using statistical techniques. It is known as Multi-method Quantitative Study. Another option available is Multi-method Qualitative Study where data can be collected using qualitative techniques like structured interviews data can be analyzed using non-numerical qualitative techniques. Mixed Methods can be used to define, when qualitative quantitative data collection analysis techniques are used together for research. Mixed Methods is further classified into two groups; Mixed Method Research Mixed Model Research. Mixed Method Research makes use of qualitative quantitative data collection analysis techniques either parallel or sequentially i.e. at the same time or one after the other but never combines them. It means that, though quantitative qualitative views are used together, quantitative data is analyzed using quantitative techniques qualitative data is analyzed using qualitative techniques. On the other hand Mixed Model Research combines quantitative qualitative data collection analysis techniques. This means one can take quantitative data qualities it or quantities the qualitative data. Tashakkori Teddlie further argued that Multiple Methods are preferable for research as they give more opportunities for analysis. They also stated that adopting Multiple Methods gives a major advantage of using different techniques for different purposes of study. Approach adopted: For my study purpose I have adopted Mixed Method Research, where Ill be using qualitative as well quantitative techniques together. My study is dived into two parts where in first part I have to build a Geography Model in second part identify the costs that are directly or indirectly affected by rising oil prices. For building the model, required information will be collected by interviewing the concerned people i.e. use of qualitative technique. And for the second part, costs will be allocated using Oil Vulnerability Audit Tool i.e. quantitative technique. It is Relational Correlation Research type where I will be investigating probable connection between resource costs their vulnerability to oil prices to find out if there is any correlation if yes, then to what extent. Let us understand Oil Vulnerability Audit Tool concisely. It is a tool designed by Dr. Simon Snowden his colleagues from the University of Liverpool to evaluate vulnerability of business processes to mounting oil prices. The audit is made up of several sub stages as mentioned below: In first step business is overviewed carefully in order to understand the main entities of the business. Entities could be anything like a particular product or service line, market segment, specific customer etc. In my report entity is Geography Module taught at Liverpool Hope University. Once the entity is identified next step is to gather more information on individual activities that take place under that entity processes involved in order to carry on those activities. Also resources required to conduct these process are listed down. This is represented using flow charts. Once the framework for audit is set, associated data is acknowledged collated. Cost data required here is of operational nature. The most important thing to do after gathering the costing data is to prepare Oil Vulnerability Audit Resource Dictionary which contains all the resources in scope. Once the resource dictionary is ready, specify the percentage of cost will be allocated to each activity. Also need to normalize the costs based on reasonable grounds. Next step is to review each resource set the flags. This is done by adding five more columns; energy, liquid fuels, petrochemicals, man-made materials and components made from man-made materials. This will help to indicate oil vulnerability of resources. These particular flags were chosen by the developer of this tool because they help to indentify where the resource is exactly situated in the oil supply chain. The further down the supply chain, the smaller the impact of oil price increases in the short-term but the flags acts as early warning indicator for rising prices in the medium term. Now the resources in the resource dictionary are allocated to appropriate business processes. The flags set will now help to decide whether particular resource should be included in oil vulnerability calculation or not. Now information from each business process can roll up through the business hierarchy to summarise the costs and the OVR information, at each level. Using this tool, oil vulnerability of Geography module taught in Liverpool Hope University University of Liverpool will be calculated compared against each other. Then further discussions will be made as which one is more vulnerable to rising oil prices. Possible Questions asked to gather the information: Based on above discussion the data will be collected from both the organizations. In order to get details required for building the Oil Vulnerability Audit Framework further calculations data will be collected by interviewing the concerned people in both institutions. Following are some of the possible questions that will be asked to the concerned person during their interview. Information required to build the geography Model What is the title of the module? What is the module about? This module is offered under which course? This module comes under which department? What are the contents of the module? Whats the structure of the module? (Lectures/assignments/exam/lab work/field trips/seminars/guest lecturers) Who is the module leader? How many faculty members are there? How many students have enrolled for this module? How are the lectures designed? What are the prerequisites for conducting lectures? Who is involved in designing the structure of the lectures? Whats the procedure of conducting the exam? Information required for defining Resources, Costs Allocation What are the resources used for conducting the module? What is the cost of these resources? Are the required resources easily available? Resources are availed from local, regional or national suppliers? How much cost is incurred for conducting the exam? How much electricity is used per lecture, per exam?

The War Of The Syrian Cities Of Aleppo And Damascus
In the spring of 2011 a series of protests in the Syrian cities of Aleppo and Damascus escalated into armed confrontations between protesters and Syrian Security Forces. By June 12th of the following year, the UN had declared Syria in a state of civil war. Since the announcement, over 191,000 men, woman, and children have been killed in the fighting. Syria has also seen a wave of violent crime and kidnapping since the start of the fighting. As the alarming death toll continues to rise, the world community franticly searches for a party on which to place the blame. With only a few exceptions, its eyes have fallen on the Assad government. The importance of the issue at hand (the allocation of blame) lies in its implications. The support ofâ⬠¦show more contentâ⬠¦By mid 2012 several high value Syrian government officials were assassinated, including a defense minister and army general, and Hisham Ikhtiyar, who was the acting the intelligence chief at the time. During 2013 rebel g roups, namely the FSA (Free Syrian Army), made major gains against government forces. One of the most notable being the seizure of Base 46, the largest military base near the Turkish border; from the armory rebels gained control of tanks, APCs, artillery cannons and more. While condemning the Syrian government on the world stage, countries such as The United States, Great Britain, France, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and even Israel have been lending continual support to rebel groups in terms of arms and intelligence. The continued military setbacks, combined with the foreign intervention, and heavy casualties put the Syrian army at a major disadvantage tactically. It is beyond a reasonable doubt that the Syrian Armed Forces, once considered one the strongest in the region, was on the verge of defeat. What began with civil disobedience, inspired by the uprisings in Tunisia and Egypt, quickly and bizarrely turned into a full-fledged war. From the very beginning of the conflict, the Syrian gov ernment claimed the existence of armed groups in the Syrian countryside, but with the media hype of the

Development of New product Due to the decrease in the lending of loans experienced in the market, which is because of offering risky loans earlier to compete with other banks there is a need to re develop and simplify the process. The low and middle income group of people feel that the credit policy of the bank to be too tight. If the lending process includes the down payment to be low with introducing programs for assisting consumers with counselling their needs, then the inability to become eligible for loan amongst borrowers will become simple and convenient. Lifecycle of the product The offering which is proposed with a modification is in the stage of Introduction and release. This stage requires analysing the willingness of the customer to pay for the offering. An extensive research before testing it in the market before releasing it for distribution is important in this stage. The bank must ensure no loss to the credit and financial division if there is any disconnect with regards to the facts and figures regarding the hidden cost. The implications of this on the new marketing strategy could be the customer switching the bank with another competitor providing better service in loan offerings (Wells Fargo Works, 2017). Channels of Marketing Wells Fargo finds it efficient to use both direct and indirect channels of distribution in order to get the loans and credit offering in the market. Direct channel does not include middlemen and involves reaching directly to the customer. This is done by making the opportunities available to apply for loans online directly. However, Indirect has various services related to dealer, customer service, collections and recovery. Indirect channel enlists three distribution processes like customer to dealer involving completion of application for loan, reviewing credit score, signing contract basis of documents produced. Then, the dealer does management and financial reporting, booking the loan and processing the payment. Finally, Collections and recovery manage the recoveries of the loan disbursed in case of any delinquency (Wells Fargo Works, 2017). Marketing Strategy The bank chooses indirect channel because distributors are specialized in their marketing techniques in the competitive market. Alternatively, where the market coverage has to be limited then direct channel is used especially high income group of potential business class customers. The bank is targeting to simplify the lending process for making middle and low income groups eligible. These groups include youngsters who need loans for short term for small amounts. To get a complete control of the market indirect channel is used so that maximum coverage is attained quickly and in specialized way. Value chain The bank aims in establishment of relationship with its clients through providing direct loans or through indirect channels. Improved and quick loan processing through dealers with provision of good customer service helps in adding value to the lending process through dealers (Wells Fargo Dealer Services, 2017). Proper counselling for catering to individual needs and discounting activities bundled with tax reduction benefits help the middle income market to establish a sound customer- lender relationship. Alternatively, when it is a requirement for providing a value add service of privacy, anonymity and confidentiality concerns to business clients or HNIs then direct marketing plays a vital role. Strategy to price The price is a determining factor of finding the clients trust in the name of the bank. It is competitive pricing which helps the customer in choosing the bank for its loan needs. The bank follows an approach which is value based and customer perceived. Allowing the customers to finance their needs by adding a tax benefit through its software draws the clients to choose a loan in which interest rate might be not very low but the benefit to pay less on taxes is profitable both from a customer and banks perspective. In order to increase the banks profitability, the clients with a high loan amount with high rate of interest are eligible for in-house tax service software which is free of cost. They can easily manage their taxes from their home. They are trained and counselled by financial analyst to do their taxes efficiently. Value add services like these help to attract clients for large loans profitable both for the bank and the client. Conclusion The analysis of the banking institution is the competitive environment it survives in order to sustain amongst other banks. Wells Fargo is the largest banking institution in the US. It competes with big banks like bank of America. The changing perceptions of customers according to their needs are a big challenge to hold a good market share. This is determined by selecting the target market smartly so that services of the bank are customised with proper study of the segment targeted to be catered. Adding value to the product offering attracts more clients which in turn increases the banks revenue. References Wells Fargo Dealer Services (2017). Welcome to Wells Fargo Dealer Services. Real Learning Takes Place Through Experiance free essay sample
ââ¬Å"Not all learning takes place in the classroom. All knowledge should not obtain from class because subject only taught by a teacher. But some lessons, which are pertaining to life, only will demonstrate by personal experiences. Every person should be learning more from real life than class room. I think real life is the best example for learning and obtaining knowledge. This is supported by various reasons. Learning takes place not only in the classroom but also in our everyday lives. This is because to learn does not mean just to gain academic knowledge. Rather, learning refers to acquisition of any kind of knowledge that can give us instructions on how we should behave. Information that we get in the classroom is, without any doubt, useful and proven and it can broaden our mind. However, school years are relatively short in terms of a life span, and, therefore, there are a lot more things that can be attained outside classroom and that are equally valuable. Which knowledge have gotten by personal experience, it will be never loss. Second, the relationship among the people as well as friendship values is not taught by teachers in the classroom. The Reasoning of the Astrology Using Illumination Manuscript by Essay
The Reasoning of the Astrology Using Illumination Manuscript by Lumbourg Brothers - Essay Example People dealt mainly with the effects of Black deaths and Great Schism1. In spite of the new age problems, there was an evolution of new economic system. The thriving economies gave a leeway to the evolution of various cities, as well as, rural-urban migration. It is worthwhile noting that during the period, gothic art became the epitome of an inspiration to the art of Northern Europe, especially the illuminations and the exquisite combination of colors seen through stained glass. One of the most significant developments in French manuscripts was the new concept, as well as, the presentation of space. The pictures and images done by the then artists no longer flat as they were but have been developed into three dimensions. Many historians argue that the style could have been possible due to the contact with Italian artists and their humanism development. One of the main artists during the periods was the Lumbourg Brothers. The group expanded the illusionistic capabilities of illuminat ion. The paper will cover a detailed analysis of their work, as revealed in the Book of Hours for Jean, the Duke of Berry. The analysis will be based on irony and astrological reasoning as depicted in the book. It will also include the examples of the works of arts during the period. To begin with, the calendar pages are perhaps considered the most famous in the illuminated manuscript history. ... In the month of January, the relationship between Duke and that of the peasant people is evident. The Duke appears at the reception of the New Year, at court and is noted by the existing large halo behind him. The chamberlains stand in front of him and they usher the two people with the words, ââ¬Å"approachâ⬠written on both sides behind him2. The large tapestry believed to be a scene from the Trojan War and the table full of rich foods displays the wealth that accompanies The picture depicts the feast of Epiphany that was celebrated in the hall of Hotel dââ¬â¢Gracââ¬â¢. In the middle of the picture, next to Jean De Berry is an inscription, Aprocheââ¬â¢. The prince is accessible to all in this festive occasion. the Duke. In addition, each illustration in the artwork is accompanied with an appropriate hemisphere showing a solar chariot, the degrees and the signs of zodiac as well as the numbering of the days of the month. They also show martyrological letters represent ing lunar calendar. The subjects of the illustrations for the first four months of the calendar are as shown: January is regarded as the month of giving New Yearââ¬â¢s gifts, although the custom has died out currently contrary to the Christian teachings on generosity and sharing. On this day, Jean Berry is seen on the right and he appears as he wears the brilliant blue robe. In the month of February, it is wintertime in a peasant village and farm inhabitants are portrayed in the pictures as they warm themselves around the fires, in the background daily lives. To them, life goes on as normal. They cut wood, take cattle to the market, and perform all other normal chores

Contract Law As the basis of Business Law Essay
Contract Law As the basis of Business Law - Essay Example law has made exceptions in the acceptance of an offer. Acceptance is the words, writing or conduct of the offeree that signifies consent to the agreement proposed by the offeror. When we view The Sale of Goods Act 1979 Part II S4-How a Contract is Made- and s (1), the statute states the spectrum of contract formulation. Additionally, we find the principle of acceptance by conduct when we view Brogden v. Metropolitan Railway Co. [1877] 2 App Cas 666. Adam and Mark entered into a simple contract, which can be oral, written or both. Simple contracts can be held valid in court. Particularly in a business transaction; the court makes the presumption that the parties did have the intent to become legally bound. Of course the presumption can be disputed by either party, however the disputed party must proved to the court that his intent was not to be legally bound. Failure to convince the court, the court will then decide the case by means of the relevant Presumption. I would advise Adam that he has in fact created a binding contract with Mark. We find auxiliary conversations in Rose v. Crompton Bros. (1925). concerning the talk of not having a written and signed contract was of itself a recognizable legally bindingagreement. The court concluded that contracts had been created, and the defendant in3 failing to execute them, were in breach of contract.... From this research, it is clear components 1-4 were inherent of the agreement and points 5-6 of the component list were not evident. Moreover, there was a legitimate offer made by Adam to Mark, to which they subsequently agreed verbally on price and terms of the contract. Albeit the communication of offer and acceptance were made verbally on the phone; the law has made exceptions in the acceptance of an offer. Horizontal Violence Essay -- Health Care, Nursing
Nursing is a healthcare profession that helps prevent, promote and optimize the health and abilities of families and communities. With such a noble and caring profession is very sad that violence, or bullying, exists among nurses and other healthcare disciplines. This type of violence is called lateral or horizontal violence. Violence is defined as any inappropriate behavior confrontation or conflict that causes low self esteem or other injuries. Horizontal violence is known to be the type of violence between coworkers. For some people this type of violence new and in the healthcare field, nurses world, it describes the behavior nurse have towards colleagues or other healthcare entities. Creating a safe and nurturing environment can only be achieved by nurses working together and adhering to their code of ethics; for this reason we should maintain the safety or our nurses by eliminating violence, educating and supporting them when needed. An Introduction to Debt Policy and Value Essay
What remains to be seen however, is whether shareholders are better or worse off with more leverage. Problem 2 does not tell us, because there we computed total value of equity, and shareholders care about value per share. Ordinarily, total value will be a good proxy for what is happening to the price per share, but in the case of a relevering firm, that may not be true. Implicitly we assumed that, as our firm in problems 1-3 levered up, it was repurchasing stock on the open market (you will note that EBIT did not change, so management was clearly not investing the proceeds from the loans in cash-generating assets). We held EBIT constant so that we could see clearly the effect of financial changes without getting them mixed up in the effects of investments. The point is that, as the firm borrows and repurchases shares, the total value of equity may decline, but the price per share may rise. Now, solving for the price per share may seem impossible, because we are dealing with two unknownsââ¬âshare price and change in the number of shares: Share price=Total market value of equity

Analysis Of The Article Are You Sexually, And Does That...
Analysis of Articles One of the keys points in the article ââ¬Å"Are you Sexually Normal- and Does That Matter?â⬠by Dr. Klein is ââ¬Å"are we normal?â⬠As humans we want to be seen as normal, but there is no real definition for normal. In class, Professor Popillion asked us our definition of a virgin and as a class we have different views on what we classified as a virgin. This is exactly what is going on with the definition of normal. I didnââ¬â¢t realize how much of a problem this was until reading this article because it affects us starting at childhood all the way into adulthood and beyond. Society makes us believe that we will be frowned upon for being sexual and having sexual thoughts all of our lives. Dr. Klein mentioned ââ¬Å"as children, we learn to fear being discovered as sexual, and to mistrust our sexual energy, curiosity and desire.â⬠It was really surprising to me to find out that a lot of young girls and boys believe they canââ¬â¢t talk about their sexuality and f ear that there is something wrong with them because of their sexuality. This is really sad because as children we have these feelings and everyone is telling us that they are bad, and in a childââ¬â¢s mind it makes them believe they are bad. When I was younger I thought this as well and I didnââ¬â¢t have anyone to talk to about these types of things. I believed that I wasnââ¬â¢t allowed to know about these things and what it was because it was bad. Another key point that is brought up in Dr. Kleinââ¬â¢s article is the want by humans to beShow MoreRelatedThe Theory Of Child Sexual Abuse901 Words à |à 4 Pages After reading the article by Rind, Tromovich, and Baserman, and the other associated commentaries I have drawn a few conclusions.
